Originally founded as a harbour service provider in 1910 by Cassens Behrend Freese, the Freese Group has grown to comprise a number of firms at different locations. The family-owned company is now managed by Olaf Plöger, Jörg Stengel and Christian Freese, the fourth generation of family management.

The products are manufactured in the own factory plant in Bremen using patented formulas and marketed under the brand names TEFROTEX®, TEFROKA® and TEFROLITH ®. Particularly unique: GTF is not only a manufacturer of a range of flooring products but also a floor installation company. We are also a reputable and highly innovative corrosion protection company, offering a full range of services from planning and preparatory work to the final coating. Our services are fully integrated into the operational workflows of our customers and therefore support our customers to deliver in time and in budget. The most modern cleaning and jetting technique – dry ice cleaning – was introduced for the first time in the world on a large scale by GTF. This technique, which is also used in industry, is superior to conventional methods in many aspects. We have been awarded with the first “environmental award” of the city of Bremen for this innovative technique.
