Anti-slip and anti-abrasive qualities are often important requirements for exterior deck coatings that are subject to heavy wear and tear, such as on ferries, naval vessels, etc. On passenger ships and cruise ships, too, high standards are required for certain areas of the vessel with regard to footstep-sound insulation, walking comfort and design.
