The prevention and control of noise and vibration is of the main tasks connected to the
design and construction of today’s ships. GTF can look back on more than 90 years of experience and
today produces about 80.000 m² of insulating ship floors and damping layers of totally 500.000 m²
marine floorings per year worldwide.
Our products are tested according to actual IMO-Resolutions and are wheel mark-approved. EC,
USCG and further certificates from all leading authorities are available.
We guarantee the provision of consistently high quality by carrying out research and
development in our own laboratory as well as by co-operating with independent institutes and
universities. Our range of services also includes delivery and installation of flooring materials
like carpet, vinyl, PVC, ceramic tiles etc.
